The department of commerce was started in 2005 . It has a noble vision of imparting knowledge and technical skills to meet the demand in the world of commerce. It offers B.Com, B.Com (CS) in UG stream and M.Com in PG stream. It offers superior quality, affordable and professional education with a view to build graduate and post graduate with highly efficient and leadership qualities.
The department intends to enlighten the graduates to be in right endeavor by developing their distinct competition in the human values and professionalism which led them to be successful, globally employable and entrepreneurial graduates in the dynamic environment. Hence forth, the department apart from class room teaching it molds the students through various academic and co-curricular activities under the banner of “BANCO” – Department Association. It conducts MOC-MAD a mega MOC marketing show to enhance the entrepreneurial straits with the department.
Our department frequently organizes guest lectures of various experts in the wanted topic to enhance the practical knowledge. It arranges for industrial visits to know about the real industry need. It organizes quiz, group discussion, news paper reading, faculty lecture and debate etc., to improve the in-depth subject knowledge of the student. Therefore, the faculty of commerce is the crown of the college and holds 280 students’ strength our Department.
